LITTLE CAYMAN - DECEMBER 2023 December 9th - December 16th

Originally known as Las Tortugas, the Cayman Islands were discovered in 1503 when strong winds pushed Columbus' ships off course. The three islands are an outcropping of the Cayman Ridge, a submarine mountain range that extends west from the Sierra Maestra mountain range in Cuba. At just one mile wide by ten miles long, Little Cayman lives up to its name as the smallest of the three islands. The undeveloped coastline is full of lagoons, mangrove forests, secluded beaches and salt ponds and is known for its excellent scuba diving and birdwatching, unspoiled wildlife habitat and laid-back atmosphere.

Since a great deal of Little Cayman is dedicated as Marine Park, Environmental Zone, Replenishment Zone or Animal Sanctuary the environmental impact is restricted and helps ensure that Little Cayman’s treasures will be in pristine condition for generations of visitors to enjoy. And no trip to Little Cayman is complete without a visit to Bloody Bay, consistently ranked as one of the world's top dive sites.

Enjoy the spectacular views from either an oceanfront room or pool view at the Little Cayman Beach Resort. Breakfast and Dinner are included in the Birds of Paradise Dining Room. Or stop over at Beach Nuts Bar overlooking the Caribbean. Spend your time between dives relaxing by the pool, rejuvenating at the spa, or searching for that perfect souvenier at the Mermaids Boutique.
